A Toy For My Boy And A Giveaway!

Most, if not all of Rowan's toys make some sort of noise. Rattle, crinkle, jingle, squeak - some baby toys today have so much going on it's overwhelming! My baby's favourite thing right now is a smiling face and big, friendly eyes so I decided to make him a softie with those features. Crafty Reuse - Faux Canvas Art

My obsession du jour is framing photos and art to hang on the walls in my home. One of the collage frames that I bought recently came packaged with a bunch of styrofoam rectangles that I of course kept with the notion that I could surely find some crafty use for them.

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE a good deal and there is no better deal than FREE! This is why I love recycling/reusing things. If I can find a practical use for something that would have otherwise been thrown out I get giddy.

Handmade Sweaters

I come from a long line of crafty ladies. It is no wonder I enjoy it so much - it's part of my genetic make up. One craft I just never got into was knitting. Sure I've done a scarf or two in my day, but the heavy duty stuff like sweaters, mitts and hats always falls on my mom. She couldn't be happier having now four grandchildren to knit for.
